GOD KNOWS YOUR FUTURE

God knows your future

The sun is a powerful light. It is so bright it lightens our streets and rooms. Its light is powerful. Light helps us see what is in front of us. When you are walking in the day time you know what is in front of you. If your friend is three houses away you can see his face. You smile and run to him. The light makes it easy for us to move from one point to another. But sunlight is not the only kind of light God has.

Do you know that the word of God is light?a The word of God also gives light.b The word of God is so powerful it can help you see what other people cannot see. When you can see what other people cannot see you are truly blessed.c

When there is darkness you cannot see. When you cannot see you cannot know what is in front of you. But when you have light you can see ahead. God wants you to know that he is light.d He knows what is ahead of you. He wants to guide you into a bright future.e Even if you think nobody loves you, God loves you.f God wants to take you into your future. A bright future full of the light and love of Jesus.

Joseph had a dream when he was a child.g He knew he will rise to be great man. His brothers were jealous and hurt him but God still guided him. God guided him when he was a slave,h God guided him when his master’s wife lied against him, God guided him when he was in prison.i God did not leave him.

God will not leave you. God wants to bring light into any kind of darkness you are in through Jesus Christ. He knows you by name. He loves you even though He knows everything about you. He wants to come into your life and give you light from inside out.j Like the sun He will shine in your life and darkness will disappear.

He will help you through every difficulty you face. You can trust him.

Jesus wants you to know him like you know your dad, mum or best friend. If you want to follow his light as He guides you like Joseph say this prayer:

“Jesus, I know that I need you to save me.

I believe that when you went to the Cross for me and for all my sins.

Please save me. I give you my life.

Today, I know you have forgiven me and I’m saved. Be a light in my life. Lead me. Amen.”
